One layer, one brush. No effects. An awesome challenge.

Painted with a mouse on Paint Shop Pro 9. Around 20 hours worth. Print available.

William and Erin, from another story I'm writing.

Enjoy! :D

Hehe, thanks! Sometimes lots of layers is good. Sometimes it's not

A really beautiful picture, you must have such steady hands to create art such as this using a mouse and photoshop :)

I really like the detail, especially in the clowds and the horizen. Good choice in colours, they fit perfectly together and nothing looks out of place.

I really love the way you have made the girl clasp her hands together as if admiring something.

an amazing piece of art, well done

Steady hands, yeah. I guess. I don't use Photoshop though.

I spent a while selecting the colours. I'm glad you like them. Interesting note of Erin's position, too. Thanks!

It's a charming piece... like a snapshot from some European fairytale. Gentle, slightly desaturated colors, dusk-like lighting, and lots of loving detail. Especially like the contrast on the tipped wagon. The flesh tones and clothing detail also look very natural.

Lovely work; thanks for sharing it!
