Its what life asks of us, Evan said. Dont try to hold on to it. Just let it go. Let it move through you and then move on Otherwise it hurts too much.
I have two reasons for drawing this. The first is because I realised I've never depicted the strength of the friendship between Cole and Evan in the form of a drawing. The second is because I rarely give myself a chance to render anatomy to such a degree.
I won't go into any details that would be spoilers for my book, but yes, this is a scene from the story
Beautiful job, as always. Your work always makes me feel something, whatever emotion you want to convey, and since I'm in a very melancholy and bittersweet thoughts, it's nice to see this picture. It's both heartwarming and relaxing. The quote really fits too, and I'm glad to have both.
...And to think this is all mouse-art. Just amazing.
It really is beautiful. Interesting how you combine the thicker lines (especially in the hair) with realism as far as colors and stuff goes. Kinda reminds me of those old stained glass windows in cathedrals.

Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

What's the difference between an artist and a guy who draws well?
. . . the artist wields his heart
the love, the hate, the passion, the sorrow
