Mouse painting in Paint Shop Pro using this lineart [link] and I think there's well over 30 hours of work gone into this over the past 15 months.

I don't think I've ever spent so long on a drawing! In an attempt at making it more interesting, here's some information about the Palace's construction.

The palace is a giant structure, the likes of which took 110 years to complete. It was begun in 3801BD under the order of King Harha and the final statue was in place by 3691. The master architect, sir Oswin Preoland, spend a good deal of his life supervising the construction, checking the plans constantly, redesigning portions, and dealing with the workers. He started planning the palace when he was only 29 years old, and died at 139 only moments after attempting to fix the last statue to an alcove about 70 metres high. He slipped and fell, and so did the statue. The other architects buried the head of the massive statue with Oswin and left the alcove empty. The next day, they announced the palace's completion.

I'm.... beyond speechless at how incredible this is... o___o

All I can say is, the time you put into it really shows. ^^ I really admire your patience. Whenever I colour something, I always rush to get it done as quickly as possible. I'll try not to do that anymore, if It could get remotely near your level of awesomeness :D

This is incredible! The amount of detailing in this piece is something I am in awe of. From the way the light hits the building to the plants, and each individual line and window in the building... I really love this piece.
