Mouse, Paint Shop Pro, about 9 hours.
It's been a little while since I did something "painterly" and loose like this, and I've lately been especially fond of realism. Anime just seems so commercial sometimes
Of course, my reasons for drawing things like this don't end there~
The character is William. He's from my story; Maid and Squire.
Thanks to *chibiniko for some advice towards the end. Print available. Someone might actually buy one of my drawings...
