Mouse, Open Canvas/Paint Shop Pro, about 2 hours. Speedpainting gone overtime D:
About two thirds of this was done in OC with someone watching, but when I brought it into PSP It underwent a large amount of subtle changes, and now I think it looks much more atmospheric
I would love to have a creek like that near my home one day...
aww very nice! I really like the tree! 8D awesome job!

Simply phenomenal. The mist gives it a great, otherworldly ambiance. Actually, I could really see this as something out of the opening scenes of a thriller. Did you try and pull that off, or am I just looking at it oddly?
This has a nice feel to it alright. The subtle bloom effect created from teh relected light on the water gives it a nice surreal look to it, and the color tones are saturated just enough to give a sense of comfort. you do have a dark patch that catches my attention down on the left, but thats not enough to dampen the feel of the image. Nice work treij. I just don't know how you can work with a mouse in a painting program still

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm featuring a little part of the deviant community ! Asked few days ago, and requested everyone to show me their 3 favourites photos in their own gallery, and the 3 most popular!
So, here is it.
Follow me if you want to be in the next feature, I'll create a new poll for it soon!
