12 hours, mouse, Paint Shop Pro
Trying to go realistic without getting realistic, if you catch my drift. This one was a good challenge. Until I added the flame, most of the shading was sort of lost. I tells ya, you gotta know what and where your light source is!

The story that jumps out at me from this is that he's the lost son of Arthur Pendragon, held in secret and protected by Merlin until such a time as he can claim the throne. But times are dark, and the spirit of honor and justice must be reinforced with flame and steel...
