Trying to go realistic without getting realistic, if you catch my drift. This one was a good challenge. Until I added the flame, most of the shading was sort of lost. I tells ya, you gotta know what and where your light source is!  Part two of the Eternal Series [link]Evan likes playing with magic~ Who dun like magic, eh? Oh and thanks to ol' *deligaris for some advice towards the end  Edit: I know I'm not submitting more work, but I decided to update this one to the latest version of the drawing. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. The story that jumps out at me from this is that he's the lost son of Arthur Pendragon, held in secret and protected by Merlin until such a time as he can claim the throne. But times are dark, and the spirit of honor and justice must be reinforced with flame and steel...
