So Slow

Mood: Sympathy

I'm terribly slow in replying to deviantART-related things lately. I realise how slow I am and apologise to the several dozen people awaiting replies on discussions. I don't actually know why I'm writing a journal about it. I also realise how silly that is, but I don't care and I'm doing it anyway. I've been doing numerous shifts at work working till midnight and later -- sometimes till 5am, and my dog was put down yesterday as her health was failing, but they're not excuses.

I'm working on a few drawings but I'm really taking my time because, well, because I'm just drawing them because I feel like drawing at the time, not because I want to create a piece of art suitable for submitting to my website or to deviantART.

I feel pretty <insertsuitablewordwhichcurrentlyeludesme> right now. I'm not sure there's a word for it. I'm hoping there's not. That would only serve to demean... something. I think I'm going to write a blog entry instead of splurging it all here.

You are all awesome beyond belief and don't you ever forget it. <3

Real life before Internet life, and unfortuntly, art.
I know how those long shifts and extra hours can be. Just take your time and do what you need to.

And a rant for a journal... not a problem. A lot of people use their journals here for rants. Typing it out probably made you feel better I bet.
(Sorry to hear about your dog. I lost a dog a few years ago myself, so I know how that is.)

Hey, life gets busy man, and I am sure people understand that. I also don't think it's silly to write a journal about it. For one it's letting people know what's going on with you, and for two it's getting things off your chest. That's far from silly in my eyes.

Bahhh, so much stress, I feel yeah man; I'm recuperating from my surgery I just had. But I guess it's sort of like what Gangstarr says in the rap "Moment of Truth", "...don't fear, things get severe for everybody everywhere." I don't really like rap music, but this one in particular I found to be very meaningful. Sorry to hear about your dog, hope to hear brighter news on your next journal.
